St. Anne School in Vasai has as its premise, to work for the academic progress of children who come from the poorest and most disadvantaged social classes in society.

  • School enlarged to provide secondary education.
  • Currently the school provides primary education to a total of 1,433 minors.

St. Anne School in Vasai has as its premise, to work for the academic progress of children who come from the poorest and most disadvantaged social classes in society. There are more than 1,400 students and currently the foundation is financing the expansion of the school so that it may impart secondary education. 10 new classrooms and 3 new science labs were be built.

It is situated in a region with a very large community of immigrants from other states from India, who arrive to Mumbia in search of work and opportunities. There, are many different religions and languages, and so they are not familiar with the language of the state, Marathi.

 

This project ensures that the population of this poor and abandoned region has access to education, which will help them to progress economically and socially.

This work was completed in 2013.
